Let US bring your child safely from school
to our office and back to school.

We are excited to offer a complimentary service called the “BRACE BUS” to you and your children.  We are beginning this service for the 2007-2008 school year and it is our hope that this service makes your child’s orthodontic treatment more convenient.  In order for this service to operate smoothly, we ask that the following guidelines be followed.

  • We will be offering this service to our patients attending the Park West Schools (Laurel Hill, Pinckney, and Cario).  We may, depending upon demand, add additional schools.
  • Patient’s guardian must complete the attached Brace Bus forms and return all forms to our office in advance of this service being utilized.
  • The Brace Bus will run between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on pre-determined select days and will pick up your child for their appointment and return your child to school after their appointment.
  • If you wish, children may be dropped off at our office for 7:30 a.m. appointments and the Brace Bus will take them back to school (provided you have made arrangements with the Brace Bus Coordinator to return your child to school).  Unfortunately, we cannot return your child to your home.
  • Brace Bus riders will be scheduled on a first-come first-served basis.  If your child has an appointment on the Brace Bus, please remember to let the receptionist know when you cancel or reschedule.
  • This free service is offered to school-age patients who are in active treatment.  A list of the schools we service, and their respective scheduled days, is posted on our website, www.smiles.pro.
  • If your child will miss lunch at school, please send a bag lunch or money for “fast food”.  The Brace Bus Driver will make sure that your child eats.
